The Bamfield Road Safety Association was originally created to advocate for local Bamfield and Anacla roads users to the commercial users and companies responsible for maintenance of the logging roads. Signage and road updates were an important focus of the BRSA. This work continues after the Bamfield Road Reconcilliation Project and the subsequent improvements to the road.
